Black Swan 1040 14 OZ Stay Soft Plumbers Putty, specially formulated to stay soft, flexible, and it will not shrink, bleed, harden crack, or crumble. This putty is gas proof, odor proof, and water resistant. This putty is ideal for setting bowls, fixtures, faucets, strainers, and other sealing and caulking applications. This putty is stainless and meets federal specifications TT-P-1536A. To use this putty, apply liberally and evenly to a clean dry surface, set and tighten the fixture, and remove excess putty. For marble surfaces, do not let putty touch marble, brush or spray the marble with clear acrylic lacquer, allow to dry, and apply putty as noted above.
